Haddow is located in Southwest Edmonton between Terwillegar Drive and the North Saskatchewan River. Major access is provided through Terwillegar Drive and Riverbend Road.
Haddow is primarily a low-density residential neighbourhood. Single-detached homes are the most common housing form, with row houses and other multi-family housing in selected areas.
The neighbourhood includes a central school and park site, looping collector-road design, quiet interior streets, cul-de-sacs, open spaces, and pedestrian pathway connections.

Haddow is named after Albert Walker “Bert” Haddow, Edmonton’s city engineer for approximately forty years. He was involved in the development of bridges, roadways, underpasses, the city centre airport, and Riverside golf course.
